Out of the 700 or so wedding receptions I have DJ'd, last night's reception had probably the most diverse and unique playlist I've ever encountered. I promise to always abide by the wishes of the bride and groom and so they got exactly what they wanted.

The result: well they really knew their guests and what songs they would respond to and it was an AMAZING night! A packed dance floor of wonderful, happy people.

The most common questions I hear:

"How much do you charge to DJ a wedding?"

I can't honestly answer that without hearing what your needs are. Some couples require multiple sound systems, others want an extra hour or two, some ask if you will drive to Philly, etc There are simply too many variables.

So how much should you pay for quality entertainment? (by that I mean a DJ that with a fun, interactive personality on mic and acts as MC. If they don't offer that, then they're just a regular DJ, not a wedding DJ)

I've always tried to ask a price that I consider fair for the entertainment and uniqueness that I will bring to your event. But now I am hearing brides dishing out $3,000 and more for a 5 hour reception. Wow!

I haven't changed my pricing in years and have never had an unhappy bride. And in certain months, (the slow months), I take hundreds of my fee:

There's a big group of women who got that ring over the holiday and are now booking DJ's for their big day. I'd love to explain what makes my company different and how I can guarantee you will get exactly the kind of day you've been dreaming about.

Do not hire a DJ for your wedding reception. Hire a WEDDING DJ. There's a big difference:

A regular DJ simply plays music and maybe makes a few announcements.

A wedding DJ Has an outgoing, fun personality, is interactive and will basically run everything for you from an entertainment standpoint.
