The Local
We are just two creative dreamers who had an idea of creating community within the small business and makers world. Hoping for encouragement and less competition, showing up for one another and supporting each other’s dreams while stretching and challenging our creative muscles!
We have hosted art and wine nights, backyard holiday markets, a collaboration with quite popular wreath making event where we hosted a pop up market, art boxes that were sent to homes during lockdown and now we are so thrilled to be partnering with member’s wine release party where we have been working on organizing a pop up market. We have connected with some incredible creatives and makers and can not wait to release the list of vendors who will be attending. Hopefully you are a member at and won’t miss out on this incredible event!

Calling All Vendors
Our annual Holiday Boutique is coming up on December 4th and 5th. This year we are so excited to be teaming up with and her 7th annual wreath making event where 200-250 women will be in attendance throughout the weekend! This event is what Hallmark Christmas dreams are made of. We are searching for a few more vendors! If you are a maker/creative or know of one who would be interested, reach out! Even if this is your first time, we would absolutely love to have you be a part of this event (especially if you make coffee mugs;)!

*COVID UPDATE* We know this year has been a crazy one. We take your health and safety seriously and will do everything we can to ensure this event is safe for everyone. Our event will be completely outdoors and all booths will be 6 ft apart. We will not be doing the “serve yourself” refreshments table this year, but we will offer prepackaged snacks and beverages will be served to you to avoid high-touch areas.

If you’re new here... welcome! 👋😊 The Local was an idea created by and as a way to celebrate and embrace creativity. To do that, we decided to host a boutique event for local small businesses and entrepreneurs to sell their products and meet other creatives!

Guys. The 2020 boutique is right around the corner! We are officially one month away!
We are so excited for what’s in store this year. There will be decor, beauty products, candles, oils, clothing, sweet treats, balloon bouquets, cards, a photo booth, and SO much more.
Please join us on November 14th in Placerville, 11-4, and support your local small businesses and creatives :) in the meantime, check out the tagged businesses!!

Need a little creativity in your life?!
Since we are all sheltering in place and unable to do craft nights, we have decided to create CRAFT BOXES! We are putting together special packages with all the supplies needed and sending them out so you can craft from home. This round we will have a paint night, and the best part is, we will give you an option to join in on a wine and paint night virtually!
We are so excited to continue creating with you all!
