Established in 2007, Noud Archaeological Consultants, LLC (NAC) serves as the primary point of contact and principal contractor for all Cultural Resources Management and Regulatory Compliance issues and projects associated with the Ute Lake Ranch Estates (ULR) Development area on the Sothern shore of Ute Reservoir, Quay County, New Mexico. NAC was created in order to provide continuity in implemen

tation of NHPRA Section 106 compliance requirements established in a 2006 Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) among the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the New Mexico Historic Preservation Division (SHPO), and a group of private partners comprising Ute Lake Ranch, Inc. NAC Owner and Principal Investigator, Benjamin Barnes, is the principal author of the Ute Lake Ranch Testing and Data Recovery Plan associated with the 2006 MOA, and directed all fieldwork associated with implementing the MOA beginning in 2006.
