EMI's Safety Director, Joe Payne, recently wrapped up an OSHA 10-Hour Construction safety class at Upper Valley Career Center—spending 2.5 hours a day over 4 days training these future leaders... and if you're wondering about the bottle of maple syrup Joe’s holding in the photo, the Center harvests it on-site!

Last month The Columbus (OH) Apartment Association hosted their fantastic 2026 Expo at the Makoy Center in Hilliard, OH! If we were to make a list of all the things that make a great trade association event, the CAA Expo had it all: a great turnout, great vendors, a great venue and a TON of networking! Rain or shine, EMI applies our motto “Excellence Is The Only Acceptable Outcome” to everything we do -– especially our annual company party. The weather didn’t stop us from producing a day to remember for all our employees: we teamed up for Super Games under the tents, delivered awards to our hard-working team, and rolled out two trailers full of hundreds of prizes. To top it off, we had 10 food trucks on site to keep everyone well fed.

In addition to EMI's regular fall cleanups, you’ll notice our maintenance crews mowing and mulching light leaf cover directly into your lawn. Mulching breaks dry leaves down into micro-particles that feed organic nutrients into the soil, acting as a natural fertilizer to keep your turf healthy all season long. 🍂🍻 Oktoberfest is almost here!

We’re excited to once again sponsor Columbus Oktoberfest and help bring some fall color to the festival! Our Seasonal Color teams are creating and installing the harvest displays throughout the grounds as Oktoberfest celebrates its 60th year.

From local food and live music to plenty of activities throughout the weekend, there’s a lot to look forward to. And if you’re heading out for the Brat Trot, look for the EMI logo on every runner in this year’s race! 🏃‍♂️🌭

From the front entrance to the courtyard, there’s a fresh new look at Muirfield Village Country Club! 🌿⛳

Our team installed new pavers and plantings at the front entrance, then transformed the courtyard into a gorgeous outdoor space featuring paver patios, custom seat walls, a fire pit, water features and refreshed landscaping.

While the project was architect-led, EMI helped shape many of the finished details—from redesigning the paving pattern and landscape plan to selecting the paving and wall materials.

Our incredible Seasonal Color team added the finishing touch with beautiful flower displays throughout the property. 🌸

We’re proud to see this collaborative project come together and grateful for the opportunity to continue enhancing Muirfield Village Country Club.
