Jonathan Alder students aren’t the only ones heading back to school! 📚🚑

We want to wish our Pleasant Valley firefighters the best of luck as they begin paramedic school!

Becoming a paramedic in Ohio is no small commitment. Over the next 14+ months, they’ll spend countless hours in the classroom, skills labs, hospital clinicals, and field internships, while studying advanced cardiology, pharmacology, airway management, trauma, medical emergencies, and much more.

It takes a tremendous amount of time, dedication, and hard work, while continuing to work at the firehouse.

We’re proud of them for taking on the challenge and investing in their careers and the community we serve.

The Pleasant Valley Joint Fire District is accepting applications for Provisional Part-Time Firefighters to fill every-sixth-day positions on all three shifts

We’re looking for motivated firefighters who want to train, grow, and become part of our team. Pleasant Valley offers opportunities for advanced fire and EMS training, career development, paramedic school funding, technical rescue training, and the opportunity to compete for full-time positions from within our part-time ranks.

💰 Starting Pay: $18.02/hour
📈 Annual pay raises
👕 $500 annual uniform allowance
