Property renovations designed to work and built to last!!! Turn your basement into livable space. 2 Bedrooms were needed for a growing family. We started first with moisture control by wrapping concrete walls in 2” polystyrene foam insulation board and laying out dmx underpayment for the flooring. After moisture is controlled we move on for the remaining aspects of the project such as framing, electrical, insolation, raised panel drop ceiling, drywall, paint, lvp floors, doors and trim. We cut in a new window for proper egress to meet building codes. We put in electric baseboard heat with wall mounted thermostats and recessed lighting. Beautiful herringbone hardwoods in need of a proper refinishing!!!! We sanded these floors down to bring them back to there raw unfinished state. Then on to a bit of distressing for the wood and a few different stain colors to bring out the natural grain patterns. All finished off with a crystal clear polyurethane to let the character show through and shine. Don’t go over those hardwood floors just yet!!! Refinishing might be an option. These floors had multiple layers of black latex paint and polyurethanes to remove before bringing them back to really show off there true potential. We brought out all there character and age while protecting them with multiple coats of a semi gloss clear polyurethane. Contact us for free estimates on all your property needs.

Finished up this nice project today. We started with removing the old masonry retaining wall and steps. After repairing some of the foundation issues and backfilling, we constructed a very strong timber retaining wall. The wall is anchored down below grade with concrete footings. Water drainage is provided underneath and behind wall. We also added a concrete pad for a small seating area. Then added a mulch bed to give it some color. Put down some crushed stone to finish it off.
