My Deuce Coupe the S'Cool Bus and I are heading to the Chicago World of Wheels Show this weekend at the Stevenson Convention Center in Rosemont. It will be on display in Hall A. The show is Friday night, Saturday and Sunday. Stop by and say hi! I will be giving out cool stickers to the kiddos that come to the show too. Photography by my son Alex Nagy.

Cutting Edge Graphics started with this red Ferrari 458 Ferrari Spyder and wrapped it Metallic Mystic Black . Since there was an extensive mechanism to lower the entire hard roof into the body, cleaning every edge became an ordeal in just prep. Then each panel had to be wrapped. Removing the emblems and reinstalling them on a Ferrari takes a nutty amount of time. Removing the mirrors and wrapping them and reinstalling them requires removing over 20 bolts and screws from the interior door panels and mechanisms and replacing them. Many of our competitors take a lot of short cuts and the final results show. This is why our customers keep coming back year, some for 30+ years! This customer loved the Metallic Mystic Black wrap. This wrap is black with heavy gold metallic flake.

We are doing a full wrap on this Ferrari 458 Spyder changing it from red to metallic black. Since it is a Spyder, there are a lot of moving parts so the roof can fold up automatically and close into the trunk. A lot of work on this wrap.

Cutting Edge Graphics just finished this design/wrap. We haven't done a Martini design for a while, fun to lay this one out on this Porsche 991.2 GT3 Cup MR. Giant bodywork require some real design work to make the graphics flow......really nailed it! Car was all white and we wrapped it metallic silver and printed the livery. Really had to spend a lot of time to lay the graphics down over the body transitions. We are getting pretty good at determining how the graphics will look on the 3D objects.....constantly honing our skills over the last 30 years.

Cutting Edge Graphics created this art wrap in AI and did extensive enhancements to the resolution to take a smallish file to be the size of a Radical race car. Really excited about how it came out. The guys did a fabulous job taking a 2D file to wrap around all the curves of a Radical. Team Stradale at Autobahn Country Club.

Cutting Edge Graphics got back to our roots this week. We are well respected in making sandblasted signs for businesses, parks, subdivisions and much more. We use HDU(high density urethane) for signs that will far outlast ant wood signs. We design, mask, sandblast and finish these types of signs. Naper Carriage Hill's signs look great and will last a long time. Many of our sandblasted signs around the area have been in place for over 25 years without any issues. We designed the new logo for Spartan Motorwerkz then created all new signage for this monument. Spartan's sign is brushed metal with acrylic laser cut letters and logo.....classy. We also created several versions of Clifford's logo a few years ago. Our buddy George owns the building and now our neighborhood is a little nicer looking.
