Let me be clear about the speakers I want to work with.

I'm not looking for someone trying to land their first speaking engagement.

I'm looking for the speaker who's already doing it.

You're booked.
You're paid.
You're traveling.
You're speaking for organizations.
You're running a business.

But you're also still managing all the moving pieces surrounding those engagements yourself.

That's where I come in.

I manage the operations behind your engagements and work with your event planners so you don't have to personally own every detail after the booking.

You don't need someone to teach you how to become a speaker.

You need someone who understands the business you've already built and can help you run it at the level you've reached.

You got the booking. I handle what happens next.

If you're reading this thinking, "Deborah, you're talking about me," let's talk.

There's a point when getting MORE speaking engagements creates a problem nobody warned you about.

A capacity problem.

Every booking brings another planner, another timeline, another set of materials, another pre-event conversation and another list of details that somebody has to own.

And if that somebody is always you, every new booking puts more work directly on your plate.

Here's the question I think established speakers eventually need to ask:

Not:
"Can I still handle all of this?"

But:
"Should I still be the one handling all of this?"

Those are two very different questions.

Your speaking business grew.

The operations behind it need to grow too.

You got the booking. ๐ŸŽ‰

Great!

Now who's handling everything that comes with it?

The planner needs your bio and headshot. There's a pre-event call to schedule. Travel details need to be confirmed. AV requirements need to be submitted. Deadlines need to be tracked.

And somewhere in there, you're supposed to prepare the keynote you were actually hired to deliver.

That's the part of a successful speaking business we don't talk about enough.

**More bookings create more moving pieces.**

Eventually, successful speakers reach a point where managing every detail themselves just doesn't make sense anymore.

That's where I come in.

I manage the operations behind the engagement so my speakers can concentrate on the work only they can do.

**You got the booking. I handle what happens next.**

This month I am talking directly to the speaker who has tried getting help before and it did not work.

The one who is skeptical that any support can actually move the needle.

Bring your skepticism. Bring your questions. I want to show you exactly what the right kind of support looks like and why it is fundamentally different from anything you have tried before.

At the end I am inviting you to a free discovery call. One on one. No pitch. Just a real conversation.

People ask me all the time what I actually do as a Speaker Operations Strategist. So let me just tell you directly.

I manage the backend of your speaking business so you can stay focused on the front end.

Booking inquiries get fast professional responses so opportunities never go cold.
Materials land in the event planner's inbox before they have to ask.

Travel logistics get confirmed. Right hotel. Right room. Right transportation. Nothing left to chance.

Post-event follow-up happens consistently and specifically.

Open calls get researched, customized, and submitted before the deadline.

None of that is a task list. All of it is strategy. Because every touchpoint is either building your reputation with event planners or quietly eroding it.

Does this sound like what your speaking business is missing? Drop a comment or DM me.

Can I be honest with you about something causing a lot of confusion in the speaking industry right now?

A VA and a Speaker Operations Strategist are two completely different things.

And most speakers do not find that out until after months of paying a VA with nothing to show for it.

A VA executes tasks. They work hard but they come to your speaking business without any knowledge of how the speaking industry actually works.

A Speaker Operations Strategist understands the industry from the inside. They know what event planners expect.

They can look at your backend and immediately identify what is costing you bookings and revenue.

That is not a task ex*****on role. That is a strategic partnership.

Have you tried getting help with your speaking business before?

Drop a comment or DM me. I want to hear what happened.

What if the reason your calendar is not as full as it should be has nothing to do with your keynote?

This week I have been talking about something that most speakers never address directly.

What happens after the booking is confirmed.

The post-booking process.

The pre-event experience.

The way you show up behind the scenes between the signed agreement and the day you walk on stage.

Because here is what I know after working in this industry.

The speakers who build sustainable speaking businesses are not just the most talented ones.

They are the ones whose entire experience makes event planners want to work with them again and again.

That is a systems conversation.
Not a speaking skills conversation.

I am hosting my monthly webinar

And this month we are going deep on exactly this.

What the operational side of a speaking business actually looks like when it is running the way it should.

And what it is costing you right now when it is not.

If you have been doing everything right on stage but still not seeing the repeat bookings and referrals you know should be coming, this conversation is for you.

I want to tell you something about how event planners actually make their rebooking decisions.

Because I do not think most speakers fully understand what goes into it.

Yes they remember your keynote.

They remember whether the audience responded.

Whether the energy in the room shifted.

Whether people were still talking about it at the cocktail hour afterward.

But they also remember everything else.

How long it took you to respond to their initial outreach after the booking was confirmed.

Whether your bio and headshots came in on time or had to be chased.

Whether your technical requirements were clear and reasonable or created last minute stress for their team.

Whether your travel arrangements came together smoothly or required multiple back and forth conversations to sort out.

All of that adds up to one overall impression.

And that impression is what determines whether your name goes on the shortlist for next year or gets quietly set aside.

Here is the reality of how speaking businesses grow at the highest level.

The keynote opens the door.

The operational experience keeps it open.

Speakers who have built real repeat booking engines are not just great on stage.

They are exceptional to work with off it.

And event planners talk about that.

They share those names.

They recommend those speakers to colleagues because they know the experience of working with them will reflect well on everyone involved.

That is the reputation worth building.

And it starts with what you have in place before you ever land in that city.

Drop a comment below.

What does your pre-event process look like right now?

I want to hear where you are.
