After nearly eight years of fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and community connections, Level Two Coworking has officially closed its doors.
When Level Two opened in 2018, it was born from the Hendricks County Workforce Strategy with a simple but meaningful goal: to create a collaborative space where entrepreneurs, startups, freelancers, remote workers, and small business owners could connect, learn, and grow. With the support of community partners and the Town of Plainfield, that vision became a reality.
Over the years, Level Two became much more than a coworking space. It helped jumpstart dozens of startup businesses, provided educational opportunities to hundreds of entrepreneurs, and served as the backdrop for hundreds of community gatherings, workshops, networking opportunities, and private events. It became a place where ideas were shared, businesses were built, and relationships were formed.
Since Level Two first opened, the way people work has evolved significantly. While coworking spaces experienced tremendous growth during that time, today's demand has shifted as remote work has become more commonplace and professionals have greater flexibility in where and how they work.
Although this chapter is coming to an end, the impact Level Two has had on Plainfield and Hendricks County will continue to be felt through the businesses it helped launch, the entrepreneurs it supported, and the connections it created.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Level Two Board of Directors, members, community partners, volunteers, and everyone who believed in the vision from the very beginning. Thank you for helping make Level Two a place where innovation and collaboration could thrive.
While we're saying goodbye to the space, we're proud of the legacy it leaves behind and remain committed to supporting entrepreneurship and economic growth throughout our community.
