This Earth Day, we’re reminded that small actions lead to meaningful impact.

At TRAC, sustainability isn’t a goal, it’s a commitment. Last year, we recycled nearly 127,000 tires, 2.3+ million pounds of rubber dust, and 42.6+ million pounds of chassis steel. Additionally, we reduced 70% of CO₂ emissions with tire retreading. Together, we’re shaping a more sustainable future.

For professional drivers, safety isn’t just a priority, it’s a commitment made every mile.

Truck drivers play a critical role in keeping businesses running and communities connected. With that responsibility comes the importance of staying alert, managing fatigue, following speed and weight regulations, and remaining focused in all driving conditions. One careful decision can prevent accidents, protect lives, and ensure deliveries arrive safely and on time.

Safe driving also means looking out for fellow drivers on the road, anticipating hazards, allowing space, and leading by example through experience and professionalism. Every safe trip strengthens trust in our industry and helps everyone get home safely.

Yesterday’s New York Yankees game included a special tribute honoring the father of TRAC CFO, Chris Annese. Martin Charles Annese, a 103-year-old World War II veteran from Morris Plains, NJ, served honorably in the U.S. Navy as a Seaman First Class from 1943–1946, operating in the Pacific corridor as far South as the Philippines and as far North as the Aleutian Islands. Mr. Annese received the World War II Victory Medal, and his remarkable legacy is a poignant reminder of the bravery and sacrifice of the Greatest Generation. All of us at TRAC Intermodal send our thanks and appreciation to Mr. Annese for his service and our heartfelt congratulations to all the Annese family. He is an inspiration to us all and just like the Yankees, we at TRAC will never forget.
