Ever wonder what it takes to get your wood from the woods to your firepit? At Chompers, we use only trees that have fallen. Most have been dead many years by the time we get to them, the bark has fallen off and it is ready to be utilized. We are proud of the fact that we don't cut live trees, we don't use lots of power to dry the wood as mother nature has done it for us and the bark us usually off the trees as well so the insects are left in the woods.
