Wrapping up a week in Bogota, Columbia with a great team of aviation and safety professionals at Avianca Airlines. Five days of sharing, training, practicing and some laughing, too...especially when I attempted to rise to the challenge of using a (very) little Spanish each day!

I have been blessed to have the opportunity to work with aviation people, around the world. I'm still amazed by their common passion and interest in continuing to learn and find new and safer ways of getting people from Point-A to Point-B.

They are truly special. 🛫

The rush is on getting ready for HeliExpo 2024 in Anaheim! Lots of new announcements coming out of HAI and VAST. I’ll be helping the association in one of their booths in the Safety Zone, meeting with members to discuss and show one of the new safety programs. Great turnout and wonderful mix of participants including major air carrier, regional air carrier, charter operator, corporate operator, offshore operations and MRO. Both fixed wing and rotorcraft participation as well. Feedback from all indicated a high level of practical application for BowTie methodology in their operational risk management.
