Do you want to OWN a home but think you CANNOT because of market conditions, you are held back financially or you don't qualify?

Let's not throw in the towel just yet!

There were huge problems facing our country in the late 1970's one of which was:

stagflation (link) https://www.investopedia.com/terms/s/stagflation.asp

Our parents and grandparents were pleased to get a mortgage at the time-regardless of the rate; average rate was at its highest 16.63%

IF you had great credit, were a man, were employed for several years at the same job and other things which may be deemed illegal now.

Here's the summary:

You may never again see a 3% mortgage rate.

Home prices may drop -plummet even- but don't let people misinform you that IF you WANT to own a home you NEED to rent.
You have a brain, use it for what the Good Lord intended.

You don't need 20% to buy a home. There are creative ways-and more 'traditional' ways. With both, in many cases, you can find less than 20% financing.
With some types of purchases, you can find a 2% mortgage and buy a property by taking over the seller's payments.

You don't need great credit- See above.
Even 'traditional' lenders have relaxed standards to allow for 500-580 credit scores (depending) with 10% down.

Keep paying a mortgage in RENT if you want. I'm just an old guy who is trying to get younger people to understand the power of investing early on in life.
