✍️Are you the parent of a budding Hemingway?

🫣Does the thought of writing make your child want to run and hide?

Either way, the Junior Editor's Writing Workshop is the perfect place for any students in need of a written adventure!
The Junior Editor’s Writing Workshop™ is an intensive writing experience that takes students on a journey through fact and fiction, as each junior editor selects a literary work for examination. He or she then superimposes himself or herself into the story to relive events and to retell the story from his or her perspective. In so doing, students engage in the writing process while incorporating the six traits of writing. News articles, feature stories, character profiles and op/eds provide avenues for each junior editor to marry the artistry found in literature and composition with the intuitive details that shape strong journalists.

Educating my five children and being trusted to educate other learners has been a joy and a privilege. I believe with my whole heart that education gives students the power to control their choices and options, and it is one of life’s greatest gifts.

As an educator and as a parent, I believe it is critical to teach learners about all aspects of their history and culture. I know very few who disagree with that statement, yet I also know countless others who believe that observing Black History for only one month – February, the shortest month of the year – is sufficient and adequate enough to expose students to the cultural richness and legacies hidden within the lives of Black leaders, many of whom have come and gone.

Let’s get real – celebrating Black History only one month out of the year is doing our children – that’s ALL children – a tremendous disservice. As parents, we have the power to make a change.

That said, how do we go about celebrating Black History on a grander scale? We take a 360-degree approach to their learning experience and expose children to legendary Black leaders the ENTIRE year.

To put these words into action, I have created a program and have housed it inside an interactive Facebook group, and you can enroll your child TODAY!

Black History 360: Reading, Writing, and Applying Black History (https://www.eduunlimited.org/black-history-360) is the solution to the culture-crippling, unmet needs I’ve just described. Inside our Facebook group your child will experience:

* Works of fiction written by Black authors along with discussion and
analysis
* Weekly exploration of Black leaders
* Live and recorded instruction
* Writing challenges
* Weekly discussion postings

And they’ll learn how to take this knowledge and apply it to their lives in a way that will empower the next generation of trailblazing leaders.

So, if you are ready to give your child the tools that will expose them to a degree of Black History they may have never experienced, enroll them in my Facebook group today: https://www.eduunlimited.org/black-history-360.

TAKE NOTE: I am offering a low, introductory rate of $29 per month for the FIRST 20 learners who enroll. Once those slots are filled, the monthly rate WILL increase!

We cannot always depend on the school system to provide our children with everything they need. Take control and give your child the tools that will help bring their educational experience full circle. Enroll them in my Facebook group today!
