Platte Livestock Market will be having a Special cattle sale on Wed. Aug. 5th 2026. We will get started at 9 am with a big run of weigh-up cows & bulls. The afternoon we will get started at 12 (noon) we will be selling the baby & started calves followed by the spring calves and feeder cattle. Feature consignments include 250 blk heifers 900-1000 #, 70 blk hfrs 800-900 #,25 blk tested open hfrs 900-950 #, 35 blk strs & hfrs calves 300-350 #,14 blk strs & hfrs 350-450 #, plus many more. Platte Livestock Market will be having our hog, sheep & goat sale on Monday, July 20th starting at 1pm. We have some outdoor butchers, a few feeder pigs 60 #, as well as a good run of goats and sheep of all classes. We do have some buck ram lambs in the offering (suffolk and suffolk-hamp x ) as well at some 5 year old breeding ewes. There is also a bunch of hens and some rooster and 3 turkeys listed. The afternoon will get started at 12 with some pairs and some fall bred cows. We will then be doing the baby & started calves that are being split from cows in the morning. The afternoon will get started at 12 with some heifer pairs and cow/calf pairs and some bred cows summer and fall calvers. Then we will be sellling the feeder cattle and onto the baby & started calves. We have a good run of these baby calves and calves split off of the cows that are being weighed up in the morning. Platte Livestock Market will be having our regular hog, sheep & goat sale on Monday, June 22nd 2026. We will get started at 1pm with about 100 feeder pigs from 45-85 # and 30+ butcher hogs. Then we will be on the goats and sheep. There are some fancy dapple/boer billy goats good enough for breeding 2-4 yr old, 4 dorper breeding rams 2-4 yr old, few hair families and a couple of goat families, 100 goat kids 45-75 #, and a good run of feeder lambs.
