For my business owner friends, I had the opportunity to read The 2-Day CEO pre-launch, and found it to be an engaging and challenging read.

Mostly because it challenged my heart not only as a business owner, but as a husband and father. It's easy to get caught up with the challenge of building a business... and losing sight of the reason we even started our businesses to begin with.

When I started Latitude Bookkeeping Services, the mantra became "our focus is your freedom." The same thing we want for the leaders (business and church) is the same thing we want for ourselves. The principles shared in this book, through story (speaking to our hearts and not just our minds), has challenged me to come back to this core value, of freedom... freedom that allows space to enjoy life and family while making an impact with our lives.

I wanted to throw out an idea I heard, to help local businesses by paying "ahead" for expected purchases via Gift Cards.

Many local businesses don't have the ability to accept payment for gift cards online, so this may SIGNIFICANTLY help someone.

I found a great platform and created a SUPER QUICK walkthrough/review on how I set up my account and what a gift card page looks like (simply for the sake of sharing with others, I don't have gift card friendly services).

CASH FLOW TIP

Melio reminder for businesses needing some cash flow help. You can pay by credit card, and send a check to those vendors who don't accept credit cards. (Must be a business to business transaction)

We don't generally recommend increasing the use of credit cards, but some of you may need to relieve your cash flow, and this is a short term solution.
