Safe travels this Labor Day Weekend!

From our friends over at , here's some tips to avoid delays.

Here’s where we expect the busiest times/areas:

- Friday, Sept. 4 expect around 30 minute delays on Southbound I-15 from Spanish Fork to Nephi (busiest after 3 p.m.)

- Monday, Sept. 7 expect around 40 minute delays on westbound US-6 from Solider Summit to Spanish Fork, (busiest after 2 p.m.)

- Monday, Sept. 7 expect around 60 minute delays on Northbound I-15 from Nephi to Spanish Fork (busiest after 5 p.m.)

Legislators are busy preparing for the general session in January. Much of the policy research, stakeholder input, and groundwork for bills we'll see next January is happening right now. Recognize this hot air balloon from the Freedom Festival in Provo last week?

It is a crowd favorite and frequently photographed.

And this hot air balloon also happens to belong to our own Curt Bramble, principal for the Lockhart Group.

The balloon is called the Eagle : We The People. Curt and his wife Susan spent years designing it until they got it perfect. It features a majestic bald eagle with a flag behind it and the bottom area has images of Mount Timpanogos, Lake Powell, and Delicate Arch.
