DJI recently released the results of what it describes as the most comprehensive independent security assessment ever conducted on its products.
The audit, performed by U.S.-based cybersecurity firm OnDefend, evaluated DJI's Matrice 4E and Air 3S platforms across software, hardware, firmware, and radio frequency communications.
The findings?
✔ No critical, high, or medium-risk security issues identified
✔ No unauthorized access mechanisms or backdoors found
✔ No evidence of data transmission outside the United States
✔ No supply chain tampering detected
For organizations using drones for inspections, claims documentation, roofing, or solar workflows, these findings provide valuable third-party insight into the technology many professionals rely on every day.
