Getting patients their medications involves complex operational processes, like prior authorizations, appeals, benefits investigations, and patient access. These workflows are frequently time-consuming and manual for pharmacies, and can slow care delivery.

Our recent Emerging Company Spotlight on Latent Health shares early findings from customers on their solution that uses AI to automate and optimize patient medication processes. Their goal is to help organizations improve efficiency, accelerate turnaround times, and support growth without adding staff.

Why does KLAS host an Enterprise Imaging Summit? It all began with a need.

KLAS has been doing the Enterprise Imaging Summit for a handful of years now. When we started, enterprise imaging (EI) was still in the early stages of expansion and adoption, and it meant different things to different people. We saw an opportunity to help bring providers, vendors, and other imaging leaders together to help them work through shared challenges and to learn from each other.

Today, EI has evolved well beyond radiology and cardiology. Providers are bringing more specialties, image types, workflows, and care settings into the enterprise while also navigating questions around the cloud, AI, remote reading, workforce shortages, and patient access.

As AI rapidly reshapes health care, successful adoption requires more than implementing new technology. It's clear that organizations also need strong governance, rigorous validation, and strategies for measuring impact.

Created in partnership with the Center for Connected Medicine (CCM), our report, “Validation and Trust: How Health Systems Are Testing and Governing AI Solutions,” explores how health systems are navigating these challenges and where opportunities remain to strengthen AI oversight and trust.

This work is part our longstanding collaboration with both health systems and industry leaders to deliver independent insights that help organizations make informed decisions and improve outcomes. It's an honor to partner with CCM on research that brings practical guidance to health care leaders as they work out what responsible AI adoption looks like.
