Now You See It... Now you don't. It's all part of the plan. I stood in front of the bathroom mirror putting on my favorite necklace, and heard the little voice way in the back of my mind. "Don't wear that." I resisted. "It's fine. It's going to be a fun day; I want to feel pretty." Spring Equinox 2023 Spring feels far off as I write from my childhood home in cold, blustery Kansas, so I hold tight to the image of the verdant hills I left behind in California. After 30 years of reading people, I believe that many who suffer from addiction, depression (or some form of melancholy), and anxiety are just highly intuitive and psychically sensitive and don't know it. Or, they don't know how to use it in a balanced way that makes life good for them.
Today marks 36 years since I stopped drinking. For a sensitive like me it was necessary medicine that undid me, until I learned to embrace the blessing in my curse. My heart goes out today to anyone who struggles. Consider this - you are so much more powerful than you know!
