Former Rep. Eric Swalwell — one of the most rabid anti-gun representatives in Congress — resigned after a series of disturbing allegations, including sexual misconduct and sexual assault.

Not only did Swalwell resign, but he also suspended his run for California Governor.

In perhaps the final twist of irony, if found guilty of the worst of the allegations, Swalwell will have ensured at least one citizen is disbarred from possessing fi****ms — himself.
