Ever wondered what a sawyer's point of view is? 🪵

We went back to the logging site featured in last week’s video 🪵

The logging crew worked hard over the weekend to get these logs cut and piled. Today, they’re being loaded onto trucks and headed to the mill for the next step in the process.

A lot of hard work happens between the forest and the finished lumber—and this crew keeps it moving.

Visiting Logging Sites

The process that takes place between the forest and the sawmill. Quality lumber starts at the logging site.

Sawdust is not simply discarded. Collected wood waste helps fuel the boiler that produces heat used in the lumber drying process.

The woods don’t wait, and neither do we.
A foggy Tennessee morning, the sound of a saw, and another tree beginning its journey. It’s hard work, early mornings, and a commitment to doing the job right.

This is where quality lumber begins.

Earth Day 🌎🌲
Wood is one of the few building materials that’s 100% renewable—when it’s managed responsibly.
Today, we’re proud to show what Earth Day looks like in our world:
✔️ Actively managed forests
✔️ Selective harvesting
Using natural resources doesn’t harm the Earth—
mismanaging them does.
Forests grow. Wood stores carbon. And when trees are replanted, the cycle continues.
That’s Earth Day, the lumber way.
