Many choose vehicles as their means of escape, mobility, and resistance.
The TTPOA Violent Offender Vehicle Apprehensions Course focuses on the tactics, coordination, and decision-making required to safely apprehend high-risk offenders in and around vehicles.
Students will develop skills in:
• Vehicle interdiction operations
• Team movement and coordination
• Positional advantage
• Communication under stress
• Occupant control and removal
• High-risk apprehension tactics
This course is designed for patrol officers, tactical teams, warrant units, gang units, and any personnel responsible for taking violent offenders into custody.
