In August, our Sciens Executive Team (SET) came together in NYC for an extended team meeting; a couple of days focused on collaboration, strategy, and advancing the work that supports our teams and customers. We also made time to connect outside the conference room with a memorable evening at Hudson Table.

From cooking together to sharing laughs over dinner, the event was a great way to celebrate the people behind the work and strengthen the relationships that help move Sciens forward. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this team meeting one to remember! 🗽👨‍🍳

We’re excited to announce the promotion of Dave Sizemore to National Operations Manager, S3! Dave brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in the fire protection and life safety industry. Most recently, he served as President and Founder of Elite Fire Safety in Novi, Michigan, where he built and led a growing organization known for operational excellence and customer service. Dave also held several leadership roles with Siemens and brings extensive technical expertise as an NFPA Certified Fire Protection Specialist with NICET Level IV Fire Alarm and NICET Level II Sprinkler certifications.

In his new role, Dave will help advance the Sciens Service Suite (S3) mission of building industry-leading in-house service capabilities across Sciens, partnering with our Division leadership teams to strengthen operational excellence, consistency, and customer outcomes. Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, Dave enjoys golfing, hiking, traveling, and spending time with his wife and two children. Please join us in congratulating Dave on this exciting new role!

Community matters at Sciens Sabah Division! 💚

Last Friday, the team in Pleasanton came together for a Community Matters volunteer event with Kids Against Hunger, rolling up their sleeves to help make a difference for families in need.

Together, they packaged an incredible 8,208 meals for children and families! A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and energy, and to Kids Against Hunger for the important work they do in communities around the world.

Bryan is passionate about building high-performing teams, improving operational performance, and creating an exceptional experience for customers. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic University and a NICET Level II certification in Fire Alarm Systems. Based in the Fort Lauderdale area, Bryan enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, surfing, and giving back to his community. At Sciens Building Solutions, investing in our people is one of the most important ways we build for the future. Joe Jones’ career is a great example of that commitment. Joe joined Electronic Security Solutions in 2014 as a Fire Alarm Inspector with no prior life safety industry experience and, through hard work, continuous learning, and a willingness to take on new challenges, advanced into roles including Fire Alarm Technician and Senior Project Manager.

As a participant in the Sciens STAR Program, Joe gained valuable leadership and operational experience that helped prepare him for his next chapter. We are proud to congratulate Joe on successfully completing the STAR Program and his well-earned promotion to Associate Operations Manager.
