Many Monarch enthusiasts remain in a denial state regarding the dismal state of the Monarch population. It is sad that students in Angangueo, Michocan, Mexico returned from their walk around El Cerrito and were "exhausted and disappointed" as their report is "no Monarchs yet"

Regarding GMO's (Genetically Modified Organisms). Reasons critics object to use include ethical concerns, economic concerns, intellectual property law, and ecological concerns.

If you want to protest non-labeling of GMO's why not ask yourself why you are doing this? If GMO's are not good for you perhaps they are not good for any living creature and consequently they should be banned until there is clearer understanding of all aspects.

Re: Avalon, Middle seek to clear dredge spoils site. On front page of The Press today. They want to construct a road across tidal saltmarsh to facilitate removing spoil on the site. Then it is to be replaced with new spoil? Why not take new spoil to site where they want to take the old spoil? That would eliminate need to destroy saltmarsh for the road and would probably save $$$.

Google "Hunting one Owl to save another." Barred Owl on Threatened list in NJ and they are proposing killing them in three western states. At a minimum you should post your opinion on your page.

I am against handling any wild animal unless it is injured or in trouble. I didn't see the Diamondback Terrapin on the street yesterday near my home and it was flattened by a car. One lady found a robin that had been hit by a car this morning and she was so upset. She picked it up but it was too far gone to save. I thanked her for her concern for wildlife.

I had a nice visit with a friend yesterday and we toured Egg Harbor City. There appears to be alot of potential for bluebird management in this City. Would it be a good idea to manage for more bluebirds and promote the city as the bluebird capital of NJ?
