Seventeen years ago today my life changed forever. I probably should have died from a heart attack they call the "widow maker". Alot has changed since then but I am still cognizant of what the next three days mean to me.

It was a whirlwind full of phone calls, tests, and ultimately surgery. I made new friends, cemented relationships with old ones, and made deals with myself, late at night, to enjoy the gifts I was given.

In that spirit, I'm taking a break from life and doing the things I enjoy and taking time to reflect on how I can best honor the kid who I was, the man, I've been, and the one I want to be. . Thank you all for your friendship .
