Harvest is underway at Iron Hub, and our estate-grown Chardonnay grapes are making their way from vineyard to winery. After being handpicked, the fruit is carefully processed and pressed—the first steps toward becoming our next vintage of Chardonnay. 🍷

The first grapes of the 2026 vintage are in, and we’re kicking things off with Spanish Creek Chardonnay!

Go behind the scenes with Winemaker Spencer Jones as he shares a look at the gentle whole-cluster pressing—and his first taste of the fresh juice. His verdict? Bright, vibrant, and reminiscent of fresh apple cider.

Harvest is officially underway, and even our winery dogs know it’s all paws on deck! 🐶🍷
From supervising vineyard activity and checking in on the crush pad to greeting visitors and making sure everyone takes an occasional break for a belly rub, our four-legged team members play an important role during the busiest—and most exciting—time of year.

Today, on National Dog Day, we’re raising a glass to the winery dogs who make harvest a little more fun. After all, every great winemaking team needs a good winery dog. 🐾
