A couple more shots from last night. The town was quiet, the night cool. I pulled up to the Youth Center and unloaded my car. Neighbors were calmly talking around a fire circle with some beers hardly noticing the fellow in the hoodie stalking about with a tripod. I set up the camera making all sorts of clanking noises out in the middle of the pedestrian bridge spanning the mill pond. To the north was a green haze slowly moving and growing. The water was still and I was hoping the lights would show better in the camera and maybe get some reflections off the water. Setting the camera was quick knowing the location of the controls even in the dark and as I framed the pond/school the lights grew. I'd seen the aurora before but tonight with a lower horizon I saw curtains for the first time. Spectacular and moving I took several shots each time hoping the motion would not confuse the details in the sky. And then the camera back displayed the colors as I'd never seen them before. Just like that it was over in only a few fleeting minutes the sky returned to darkness with a few stars and a passing airplane. Putting the tripod back into the car I climbed in, did a y-turn for the fire circle and drove home as Led Zeppelin's Dazed and Confused played over the radio.

Spent Thursday in the company of Shiloh enjoying the local beach. A very professional lady and just about impossible to take a poor image with her being so photogenic. Beats working.

Shyloh was a great subject, very professional.

Looking for a figure/glamour model for summer shooting. $100 per two hour session, bring a companion or chaperone if you like.

Okay now time for a reboot. I'll be opening the studio this spring and setting up for portrait/glamour and figure shoots. With a vaccination and better weather I am looking forward to working with models again and making some fine imagery together.
