🎨✨ Have you ever wondered how artists get their designs onto products, what it means to license your artwork, or how licensing agreements actually work? 🤔

🖌️ Join us for a conversation about art licensing specifically for Native artists. Panelists MaryBeth Timothy of Moonhawk Art, Leslie Jerden of Teton Trade Cloth, and Michaelina Martin of Halfday will share different perspectives on the licensing process, from the artist who licenses their work, to the company that works with artists, to the agent who helps artists find and negotiate opportunities. 🤝

🎨🧵 We’ll also explore the many types of artwork that can be licensed, including paintings, illustrations, photography, beadwork designs, textile patterns, digital art, graphics, surface designs, and other original imagery that can be reproduced on products such as fabric, apparel, home goods, stationery, accessories, and more. 👕🏡

The WomensNet Amber Grant awards $15,000 monthly to support women-owned businesses, including qualifying startups.
