The newest members of our Shepherd Management Team recently completed the 7-week certification class, based on John Maxwell's book, "The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership"!

Led by Maria Stevens of Stevens Coaching & Consulting, LLC, the goal of the program is to continually grow our leadership - strengthening their leadership skills as well as strengthening the culture within our organization.

As we end 2025, I’ve noticed that I’ve changed…in subtle ways.

I’m more patient.
I ask better questions
I’m more focused on understanding than being understood.

Coaching, real life, and a few hard seasons will do that to you. It makes you appreciate honesty, resilience, and real conversations with genuine people more than before.

I can’t do the surface-level exchanges. I like depth, accountability, and people who mean what they say.
