Last week was a busy week for training and calls for service.
Wednesday we attended the annual facility tour and emergency response procedures for the National Fuel Gas Henderson Station, thanks Nick and Josh for hosting this.
Personnel completed 2 trainings:
~ annual HazMat Operations Refresher Training.
~ And this weekend, Chyanne Taylor completed the Firefighters Essential Series. Taylor completed her structural burn portion at Butler County Community College. She was the youngest person from Station 17 to complete the structure portion, at the age of 17, under the new age criteria. Chyanne's parents - who are both very active members and also interior firefighters - watched her complete the final stage of her training. Chyanne attended the training with Natalie Rankin, who is also 17, from Rocky Grove Fire Department.
Congratulations to both of you for completing this milestone in the fire services!
