The new Ruling in the GOA, Palmetto State, and 15 States (Montana is one of the 15) Lawsuit takes another huge step for Suppressors and SBR/SBS's being removed from the NFA and being a buy over the counter item... The BS ATF Form 4 (Finger prints, Photo, background check, and ATF approval) will no longer be a thing for us in Montana...
The ruling has a 7 day stay for the DOJ to respond which ends this week... There are a couple of things that can stall it out. 1) if DOJ appeals to 5th Circut Court of Appeals we have a stall. 2) if the 5th Circut affirms the ruling then the DOJ can Appeal to the Supreme Court and we would have another stall...
However the chances are really good this will stand, because the 5th Circut and the Supreme Court are very 2A Frindly...
This is a huge 2A win.

Every year, my wife Sarah comes up with some kind of gift she wants to make for her Lab employees... every year I have to execute said gift idea... this year she wanted phone stands for the break room... then asked me to make them...
After some tinkering, head scratching, two prototypes, and some cuss words here's the two phone stands she was asking for...

There is a wide selection of great shotguns on the market these days... Beretta/ Benelli/Stoeger, Wi******er, Keltec, Browning, and Mossberg to name a few. All produce great shotguns, from affordable to ridiculously expensive...
However, might I suggest the shot gun that really defined "Tactical Shotgun," the Re*****on 870... I've owned Benelli, Stoeger, Mossberg, Franchi, Sears, Harrington & Richardson(H&R) and Re*****on among others... Both Auto loaders and pump guns have passed through my hands. All have seen the chopping block, with one exception the Re*****on 870...
The 870 Express, 870 Wingmaster, and 870 Tacical have never left me wanting...
As a teenager, the first gun I ever bought was a Re*****on 870 Express...Countless Pheasant, doves, grouse, ducks, and clay targets fell from the sky at the pull of the trigger.
I upgraded in my early 20's to a used 870 Wingmaster which, in my opinion as a kid, was almost too beautiful to carry in the field. Almost... It quickly became the bane of ring neck pheasants...
Then came the 870 Tactical... Adjustable stock, side saddle carrying six extra shells, extended magazine tube, and a Mag Pul MOE forearm. A dream to shoot in competition... Reliable, Robust, and effective...
The 870 has and always will hold a special place in my heart.
In a market dominated by auto shotguns, most of which are excellent in their own right, don't overlook the venerable pump guns that defined and shaped the shotgunning world...
I recognize I may be called a "Fud" or behind the times for this... But hey what do I know...

Another trusty good ol' firearm put back into action by HNR Consulting LLC...
The firing pin shattered on this Trooper Model 88 .410bore... Regular maintenance probably would have prevented the firing pin from hanging up and breaking on this little guy...

HNR Consulting LLC just finished upgrading this Smith & Wesson M&P 15... Parts include: New Stike Industries pistol grip and foregrip, BCM vertical grip, and Ranger band (for sling management)... To round out the upgrades the addition of a Steamlight Protac rail mount weapon light with tape switch adds an extra touch of class. This is definitely an excellent and classy rifle for the budget minded shooter...
