It’s impossible to stay within having a budget. Having that emergency fund. These associations. Keep raising our maintenance. Even before the collapse.
Regarding that building. It’s the association. Fault. N property management company. Overlooking it. Not getting repaid done if their was money in reserves.

Other situation. No money in reserves to make those repairs

What would happen. All the owner would have a special assessment. High assessment. Who has that kind of money. Now that person should have to borrow from friends and family. Or take out a loan.
Rob a bank Manny informed me this movie producer did that. He did not have the money to complete the movie.

These type of situations brings more stress emotional stress anxiety into people lives. Put owners in bad situations. Marriages. Family. Addictions can occur. As well as loosing your home. Becoming homeless.

Starting in 2025, condo boards will need to set aside reserve money to cover future repairs.
