Recent project finished. Family barn find. Old Secretary in pretty bad shape. Boards split, warped, very weathered and missing. But it's like new, used. Only with character now.

Repurposed this old buffet into a computer/entertainment center. Great fun and challenging too. It had two equal height center drawers. Now, two new drawers. One for the keyboard and one for the printer. Great example of a non pristine piece of furniture getting a new life.

Ok. Finally got these mantels done(my bad) and hung tonight. The originals were slab limestone 4" thick and 92" wide. Aged, distressed stained wood mantels are 8" thick and 96" wide. Made a huge, huge difference. Fireplace is double side for two rooms. 16' tall and 12' wide. The stone mantels were dwarfed up there. By the way, what I made snugly fit over the original mantels.
