Dream Acres Sport Horses Welcome to the dream! Dream Acres Sport Horses is a breeding/training facility located in Ponce de Leon, Florida. She participated in Pony Club and Young Riders.

The trainer, Katie Wooten Bryant, strives in making her horses and her students into successful competitors. Katie brings about riders that are both confident and competitive. All of her horses are bred to succeed in any discipline, especially in eventing and dressage. Katie has been riding ever since she was a child. She trained with many successful riders such as Julie Richards, Jodie Kelly, Sally O' Connor, David O' Connor, Ralph Hill, Mike Huber, Mike Winter, and Britta Johnston. She also spent some time in Germany to train. Katie is an upper level eventer and has competed at 4th level dressage. She is a USDF Bronze Medalist and is aiming for her silver. Katie has a goal of making it to Rolex one day. San City is her stallion and also one of her competition horses. He has wonderful bloodlines and he is passing it down to his offspring. Katie also has two other competition horses, EM Aquataine and EM Fuerst Independence, who are also amazing horses. Keep track of Katie and her team as she goes to many shows in 2012!

A little preview of our weekend shenanigans! Doing what we love togetheršŸ’• Kids had brilliant rides on their horses and even though I as my daughter put it am a ā€œoversized meat stickā€ on my pony I had a blast with him at his first outing and he was a rockstaršŸ’• Iā€™m forever grateful for Mahan Farm especially in this busy season that showing is minimal and I can have somewhere close by that is run well, safe and we ALWAYS leave with smiles on our faces and better educated riders and horses and thank you Linda Crabtreefor the behind the scenes groom, grandmother, mother, videographerā€¦the list goes on and onā€¦
This is what I call BLESSED!!! Thank you God for all these moments.

She has her daddyā€™s sparkle.

Thereā€™s just something about this sweet girl so lovely, so special, with a little soul that already has a way of touching hearts.

A little piece of San City, with a sparkle all her own. šŸ¤

I cannot thank Linda Crabtree and Mary Beth Stanton enough for making this filly a possibilityšŸ’•šŸ’•

After watching everyone welcome their beautiful spring babies, today we finally welcomed a very special fall baby of our own!!!

And this little filly feels like so much more than just a new addition.

She is by my late stallion, San City, and a granddaughter of my precious foundation mare, EM Aquataine, who is now 25 years old. Both of these horses have played such pivotal roles in my journey, not only in building the foundation of my breeding program, but in shaping me as a rider, horsewoman, and breeder.

Aquataine has been part of this story for so many years, and San City left a legacy that I will always wish Iā€™d had more time with. To see those bloodlines and pieces of two horses who have meant so much to me come together in this little filly is incredibly special.

She represents so much of where Dream Acres has been, everything Iā€™ve learned along the way, and hopefully a little glimpse of where weā€™re headed next.

We are so excited to watch this special girl grow. I have a feeling her future is going to be a bright one. āœØšŸ¤ŽšŸ“

šŸ‚šŸ“ ITā€™S ORIENTATION DAY!!! šŸ“šŸ‚

Weā€™ve been mowing, cleaning, building, printing, organizing, and prepping like crazy to get Dream Acres ready and TODAY we finally get to welcome our students back to the barn! šŸ¤Ž

Thereā€™s something so exciting about the start of a new semester: fresh binders, new goals, horses waiting in the barn, and a whole lot of learning and growing ahead. We seriously cannot wait to kick off our Fall Semester with this crew!

And if youā€™ve been thinking about joining us, thereā€™s still a little room! šŸ‘€

āœØ We have just 2 spots left in our Monday Academy session!
A smaller class with more individualized instruction, hands-on horsemanship, riding, barn skills, and plenty of time with the horses.

Hereā€™s to a brand new semester at Dream Acres Homeschool Academy! šŸ“šŸ“ššŸ Letā€™s do this!
