One of the most valuable hours of the week is usually a standing call with a client we know well.

We talk regularly, so she tells me everything. The deal she is considering. The partner friction. The thing she's not sure about. We spot the risk before it becomes a problem, and she hangs up with a decision she feels good about. That is the work we're best at, and we get to do a lot of it.

Under hourly billing, that conversation would have been a 1.0 on an invoice with a description neither of us would have loved. Instead, under our model, the call was included in the price of the client's membership, which was settled long before the call started, and that relationship is one of many that carry the practice.
