🚨 Florida’s minimum wage is increasing one final time under the state’s scheduled $1 increases.
Beginning September 30, 2026, Florida’s minimum wage will increase:
💵 $14.00 → $15.00 per hour
For eligible tipped employees, the required direct cash wage will increase to $11.98 per hour, plus tips.
This is the final $1 increase under the constitutional amendment approved by Florida voters in 2020. After reaching $15.00, future minimum wage adjustments will be tied to inflation rather than an automatic $1 annual increase.
Florida employers should prepare now by reviewing employee pay rates, updating payroll as needed, and making sure the required minimum wage notice is properly displayed.
