Nelco Supply Company is a distributor of janitorial and commercial maintenance supplies, we are located downtown Pontiac on the Woodward Loop. We are looking for a Delivery Driver to deliver our product to the metro area using our trucks. You should be in good physical shape, be able to lift 50 lbs, and have no more than 2 points on your driving record. No DUI or felonies on your record please. You will need to have or get a Chauffeurs license and a DOT Medical Card.
We would consider a part time person who would work the same day(s) each week.
Job hours are M-F 8am—4:30pm…..some days you may finish early, other days an hour late, depending on our delivery volume. Some days you may come back a couple hours early and help prepare orders for the following day or help put away newly arrived product. Starting wage is $17.50/hr….after 60 days your wage will increase to $18.00 and you will quality for Priority Health Insurance. If you do not need the insurance you will receive another $1.00/hour pay. Holidays are paid (7-9/year) and we also pay sales-based and year end bonuses. Ask about paid time off. You need great “people skills”, be able to pass a background check, be a team player…having mechanical skills is a plus.
