AC work is starting to heat up…..(yuck yuck) anyways here is a common problem on higher mileage vehicles especially these early Fords. Anyways we got the customers fixed up and blowing cold.

Some more info from the stool and another happy customer. If you pause the video and zoom in you can read the number. If you watch the video you’ll know what I’m talking about 😅 anyway oil is very important pay attention to the small text on the back not the bold letters on the front.

Boy do I love working on these 6.7 Cummins. This one was a fun one. Customer was told it needed a PCM so the customer decided to get a second opinion and brought it to us. With some electrical testing and monitoring live data I found several clues as to why this big boy was down on power and why the dreaded lightning bolt was shining bright red on the instrument cluster. PCMS do go bad but….to be sure it takes a lot of testing….if you take your vehicle to a shop and half an hour later they tell you it needs a PCM I’d recommend going to pick it up and get another opinion. Anyways we found 2 sensors that were basically arguing and the PCM put em in time out. It’s more technical than that but….thats makes it simple and funny.

This one was a fun one. Customer stated power steering leak and yes it was a waterfall 😅 found out the hydro boost was leaking. The hydro boost is responsible for your power assist on your brakes…..yes the power steering leaking on certain vehicles can cause your power brakes to lose their much needed assist. Thanks for trusting us with your work truck that makes you money. Message is if you have a similar issue or any issue at all.

Same customer different vehicle…..2017 equinox VVT solenoids…..so important to keep the oil clean on anything but especially if you have variable valve timing. Thanks for the business sir.
