Thirteenth Annual Peninsula College Moving Pictures Festival Film Submission Deadline is Friday, May 15, 2026, at Noon!

Entries are open to current and former Peninsula College students. Entries need to be available as a high-quality video on YouTube for submission and less than 11 minutes in length. Animations, Slide Presentations, and Films saved in video format are welcome. Works can be student work or productions outside of coursework. All films must be original content and only contain properly permissioned licensed music. Deadline for submissions is Friday, May 15, 2026, at noon.
Selection process: Videos are reviewed by Peninsula College Students who have earned their Short-Term Certificate in Digital Video and instructor, Renne Emiko Brock. Selections and curation of the entries is made, and video files are edited together for the Thirteenth Annual Moving Pictures Film Festival on June 4, 2026.

Email your YouTube URL for film file download or film file to Renne Emiko Brock, the Peninsula College Digital Video Professor, at [email protected] with your name, years attending PC, title of your video, film, or animation, length of media, and year produced. Please be sure your film / video is set to public and can be added to a playlist. You may have to provide your video file as well.

13th Annual Moving Pictures Film Festival is on Thursday, June 4 at 1:30 to 2:30 PM on campus in the Little Theater and online via Zoom following Studium Generale.

On Monday, February 9 at 3:30 PM, the Peninsula College Creative Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Network (CEEN) Meeting hosts our Guest Speaker Cammry Lapka who will be doing an insightful and practical presentation on “My Self-Employment”.

CEEN is a student-led support and networking club for current and future business owners who attend Peninsula College. Open to all Peninsula College students and alumni interested in expression, collaboration, and community opportunities.

Cammry Lapka is a comic book artist and illustrator based in Port Angeles, Washington. Over the last 5 years they have published books such as “Black Market Heroine” which was written by bestseller Russell Nohelty, “Cat Trails” written by Enrique Rosado, Nosferati and George Smith: “Paranormal Investigator of the PNW” which were both written and drawn by Cammry. They also have a lot of other independent comics published through writers across the globe! Cammry also enjoys utilizing Acrylics, Watercolors, Alcohol Markers and Ink for traditional art, drawing inspiration from pop-culture, fantasy and anime. Lapka was the first chair of the Peninsula College Creative Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Network which is a student-led support and networking club for current and future business owners who attend Peninsula College. It is open to all PC students interested in expression, collaboration, and opportunities. Cammry is an active community Arts supporter as well. https://www.cammrylapkaart.com/

Established in 2024, CEEN was crafted by inventive students to merge the Peninsula College Business Club and the Peninsula College Multimedia Club to support innovative and imaginative scholars. This exceptional scholarship offers financial support to students pursuing Communication Studies in Journalism and Multimedia Communications. The Webster Scholarship was created to support you throughout your time at Peninsula College. When you apply, you're not taking away from anyone else. In fact, you're helping ensure this funding continues for future students! Annual awards of up to $6,900 for an academic year were established by Charles Webster, owner and publisher of KONP Radio and the precursor to the Peninsula Daily News, through an endowment of more than half a million dollars.

Cammry, Gus, and Lucas shared their small business successes and artful work while fellow CEEN club members’ services and creations were on the big screen!

CEEN is a student-led support and networking club for current and aspiring business owners attending Peninsula College. The club is open to all PC students and alumni interested in expression, collaboration, and opportunities.
