🇺🇸 9/11 MEMORIAL UPDATES: 25TH ANNIVERSARY REMEMBRANCE 🇺🇸

This year marks 25 years since the horrific events of September 11, 2001. To honor this milestone, the community is coming together for two powerful days of remembrance.
Please note our adjusted schedule for this year's services:

To accommodate a unified county-wide memorial, our schedule has been adjusted for this year only.

LOCATION: Ulster Hose Fire Department

*DETAILS: A large-scale gathering bringing our entire county together.

DATE: Thursday, September 12, 2026
TIME: 6:00 PM
LOCATION: Port Ewen Fire House
ADDRESS: 161 Broadway, Port Ewen, NY 12466

We encourage all residents, families, and neighbors to attend both events to pay tribute to the lives lost 25 years ago.

Note: Port Ewen FD will return to our traditional September 11th schedule next year. We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to standing together in remembrance.

Should you be contacted by anyone and question the validity, especially that of a government or municipal agency, please contact them directly for clarification. Please be skeptical of anyone requesting money to be sent via apps such as Zelle, CashApp or Venmo or requesting you to meet with cash in seemingly obscure places.

The Albany Firefighters Cancer & Disability Foundation will host a fundraiser to benefit both Chief Brennan and the injured DGS Supervisor and their families.

Saturday, August 29th, from 2:00–6:00 PM at Fidens Brewing Company in Albany,

Chief Brennan is an exemplary firefighter who has dedicated more than 30 years of his life to serving and protecting the City of Albany. Both he and the DGS Supervisor suffered significant burn injuries following a recent explosion and now face long roads to recovery.

For decades, these men have served their community. Now, their community has an opportunity to stand behind them.

We ask our friends, families, fellow first responders, and members of the Catskill community to consider supporting this cause. Whether you make a donation through the link below, share this post, or come out to the fundraiser, every bit of support can make a difference as these men and their families navigate the difficult road ahead.

This one hits especially close to home for us, and we hope our community will join the greater Capital Region and first responder community in showing these families that they do not face this fight alone.
