Funeral Arrangements for Deputy Terrian Bailey
CLAIBORNE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI — With the blessing of the Bailey family, Sheriff Edward L. Goods, Sr. and the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office announce the visitation and funeral arrangements for Deputy Terrian Bailey, who was shot and killed in the line of duty on Monday, September 7, 2026.

Deputy Bailey made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting and serving the citizens of Claiborne County. His dedication, courage, and service will forever be remembered by this department and the community he faithfully served.
We ask the citizens of Claiborne County and surrounding communities to continue to keep Deputy Bailey’s family, friends, fellow deputies, and the entire law enforcement community in prayer as we prepare to honor his life and sacrifice.
Additional information concerning the funeral procession, law enforcement staging, traffic control, and other ceremonial arrangements will be released separately.
