As a nonprofit consultant, there are few things more fulfilling than helping bring a community’s vision to life and I am honored to celebrate the grand opening of PRISM LGBTQ+ Community Center in Pottstown, PA!

Over the past several months, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside the phenomenal team at First Baptist Church, a group that leads with integrity, vision, authenticity, determination, and grace. Together, we’ve laid a solid foundation to ensure that PRISM becomes a safe, inclusive, and affirming space to uplift, support, and empower the LGBTQ+ community.

From developing policies and procedures, to launching essential programs and services, building out educational initiatives, and supporting dynamic event planning, this project has been a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when purpose meets passion.

But our work doesn’t stop here. To fully realize PRISM’s mission, we need volunteers, donors, and allies to stand with us. Whether you're passionate about advocacy, education, community-building, or simply showing up with love — there’s a place for you at PRISM.

PRISM is more than a center — it's a beacon of hope, connection, and belonging. I am deeply proud to be playing a part in creating something that will impact lives for years to come. Stay tuned - much more to come!

"I started working with Michelle before she became executive director of the LGBT Center of Greater Reading --- we collaborated to pass a ban on unscientific so-called conversion therapy in the city of Reading, PA --- and she was diligent and well-organized. Then she became executive director --- the agency was small, and Michelle started adding programs and services to grow the agency. I led the LGBTQ center in Allentown, PA at the time and we subcontracted a few of our grants to Michelle's organization, and I was always impressed with the quality of the results. One grant in particular was to help turn out participation in the biannual LGBTQ health needs assessment. It was important to Michelle that they had accurate data about the community she served in Reading, and she worked hard to ensure a strong enough sample size just from her service area.

This FB page is new and doesn't yet have a lot of activity from my end, BUT I'm excited to share my gratitude for ALL those that have reached out to me - via email, website and phone, since the announcement of starting my own consulting business! Thank you.

I'm happy to report I have several projects in the works and I'm looking forward to expanding even further, soon.
