UPDATE:
Our technicians have completed their assessment of the water system and believe they have identified the likely location of the leak.
If you continue to experience discolored water, please run cold water from an indoor faucet for a few minutes. If the water does not clear, please flush an outdoor hose bib until the water runs clear.
To confirm the leak location, Official Leak Detection has been scheduled to perform a more detailed investigation. We will continue to provide updates as additional information becomes available.

: Butler Cove - Water Conservation Request

Water Conservation Request – Monday, October 26
A necessary repair of replacing a pump on the water system will take place on Monday, October 26, requiring the system to operate on emergency water supplies for approximately 5-6 hours.
Please conserve water throughout the day and avoid laundry, irrigation, dishwashers, and other non-essential water use. Water will remain available, but excessive use could deplete the storage tank and impact service for the entire community.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation as we install a much-needed replacement pump after more than 30 years of service. Thank you for helping us conserve water during this important repair.

Cougar Crest - REMINDER - Chlorine Injector Installation

REMINDER:
A Northwest Water System Technician is scheduled to be onsite tomorrow, Tuesday, October 20th to install a chlorine injector. The chlorinator will be installed temporarily so chlorine can naturally distribute through the water system to disinfect all plumbing associated with the water system.
There may be a slight smell or taste of chlorine and that is normal to experience during disinfection. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding during the disinfection process. Thank you!

Scenic Shores - Possible Leak in Water System

NOTICE:
After further investigation into the reports of discolored water and the continuous operation of the pumps at the pumphouse, we have determined that there is likely a leak somewhere within the water system.
We are actively working to locate the source of the leak. If you notice standing water, a visible leak, or water where it should not be, please contact Northwest Water Systems (NWS) at (360) 876-0958 and ask for the Repairs Department. You may also contact Steve at (253) 948-2797.
