We would like to take this moment to thank all the wonderful people and friends we have made over the years. Thank you for your continued support and doing your part for our earth and enviroment.
It is with heavy heart that we will be closing our doors.

This Thursday Sept 23, 2021 will be the last day we will be taking styrofoam donations

We will continue to take your cardboard, so please feel free to drop your cardboard off to us.

Our styrofoam collection bin continues to accept styrofoam for recycling during this corona virus times. The bin is available 24/7.

Do you know what styrofoam can be recycled? Do you get medical supplies delivered to you? Do buy or order electronics or items off line? Do you get take out food? These are only a few of the examples of styrofoam that we recycle. ... Please contact us if you have any questions and help spread the word that styrofoam is not trash its a recycle item .....

Recycling, wishcyling, feel good thrash disposal. They are not the same. There is some basis
for thinking they are. Many of us who have been recycling for a long time remember recycling many items no longer recycled. For example worn out old clothes, worn beyond Goodwill and Salvation Army use. The “rag man” collected these via horse and buggy. World war II people remember the
“tin man” collecting tin cans. We had to remove both ends, insert them in the can, then flatten the can. This was part of the war effort.
Food waste was always composted in the garden.
Today material handling is totally different. Not much hand work. That has been replaced by machines and robots. The transition from the old to the new is difficult, it's expensive. Recycling has cost.
Visit the Pasco County web site about recycling. It's interesting.

The county has clearly said what they want in the recycling stream ( curbside pick-up )
metal food containers
plastic bottles and jugs with a neck
paper and cardboard
Anything else has a place but not in the curbside pick-up
