I love helping small businesses grow but if there’s something I love even more, it’s speaking with the next generation about business and their goals! Thank you Calvary Christian Academy- PSL for allowing me the chance to be apart of Career Day and putting on an Employment workshop! I’ve already had multiple students reach out to get advice and have me look over their resumes. This is what it’s about, pouring into the next generation! These students were amazing and huge round of applause to their teachers 🙌🏻👏🏻

Can’t wait for next year’s CCA_psl’s Career Day and many more opportunities where our team and company can be apart of the next generation’s growth!

Hi, I’m Ricki-Ann and I love helping small business owners understand and navigate their way with owning their business. Starting a business is exciting and fun! You are getting to start something you love to do and it is yours, no one else’s! However, starting a business is a lot more than providing the service or product.

There’s so much that goes into a business that people don’t know or didn’t think was involved. I hear all the time, “I just want to do what I love!”

Did you know in the state of Florida, if you have 25 or more employees, it is required by law for your company to use the federal E-Verify system to verify the employment eligibility of new employees?

Best Practice is to use the federal E-Verify system even if you don’t have 25 or more employees.

👉🏻 This sets up your company for success. Having a policy & procedure in place to get your employees federally verified will allow you be ready for the company’s future growth.
👉🏻 This protects your company! Even though you may not be doing a federal everification, you can still have the government come knocking. Don’t be caught off guard and protect your company. Start verifying ASAP.

As business owners, work is so easy for us but it can consume all of our time. Remember to take time away from work, even when you feel like you’re drowning in it and it’s not possible to get away. Taking a break will help you get more done in the long run. Have a blessed Sunday ☀️
