๐Ÿ’š Happy CNA Appreciation Week! ๐Ÿ’š

Today, I had the pleasure of visiting The Gardens of Port St. Lucie and The Palms at St. Lucie West to drop off sandwiches, cookies, and juice as a small token of appreciation for their amazing CNA teams.

I want to personally thank both facilities for allowing us the opportunity to recognize the hardworking men and women who dedicate themselves every day to caring for our seniors. Being a CNA is not an easy job. It takes patience, compassion, strength, and a genuine desire to serve others. These healthcare professionals are often the first to answer a call for help, provide comfort during difficult moments, and make residents feel valued and cared for.

As the owner of Saint Lucie Senior Care, I have the privilege of working alongside caregivers every day, and I know firsthand the difference a caring heart can make. While sandwiches and cookies are a small gesture, they come with a big message:

Thank you for everything you do. Your hard work, dedication, and compassion do not go unnoticed.

From all of us at Saint Lucie Senior Care, we appreciate each and every CNA who makes a difference in the lives of seniors and their families every single day.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ An Honor to Meet a True Hero ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Today I had the incredible honor of meeting Richard Rossi, a 102-year-old Army veteran who served during World War II.

As a retired Marine, I have tremendous respect for all who have served, but spending time with someone from the Greatest Generation puts service and sacrifice into a completely different perspective.

Richard was part of the generation that answered the call when the world was at war. He arrived in France during the Allied invasion of Europe following D-Day and helped support the fight to liberate Europe from N**i occupation. The hardships, dangers, and sacrifices that those men endured are difficult for most of us today to truly comprehend.

Meeting Richard reminded me that while every generation of service members faces challenges, the men and women of World War II carried a burden unlike anything most of us will ever experience. They left their families, crossed oceans into war, and fought for freedoms that generations of Americans continue to enjoy today.

What stood out most was not just Richardโ€™s service, but his humility, kindness, and positive spirit. At 102 years old, he continues to inspire everyone he meets.

Thank you, Richard, for your service, your sacrifice, and your example. It was truly an honor to shake your hand and spend time with a living piece of American history.

Freedom isnโ€™t free. Men like Richard Rossi helped pay the price for it.
