FUN POTTY FACTS!!!

The concept of the "toilet" goes back thousands of years—and ancient Rome actually had public, multi-seat flushing latrines where people socialized!
In ancient Roman cities, public restrooms featured long stone benches with holes cut into them, positioned over channels of continuously flowing water that washed the waste away. There were no stalls or dividers; citizens would sit side-by-side and chat about politics, business, or the weather while doing their business.
But the most famous detail is how they cleaned up. Instead of toilet paper, they used a xylospongium—which was simply a sea sponge fixed to the end of a wooden stick. After use, it was rinsed out in a bucket of water and vinegar and left in a basin for the next person to use.
It definitely gives a whole new meaning to "sharing is caring" and makes modern toddler gear look like absolute luxury! ❤️

If your little one resists the potty, try giving them choices instead of pressure. Let them pick the potty seat, underwear, or even a special potty-time song. Kids are more confident when they feel involved! ✨ ❤️
