I believe much older sites will be found in the Pacific, especially now that LiDAR is being used. Most importantly, the new LiDAR images of the entire Pohnpei Island will likely reveal more sites, and especially what is hidden under the jungle at the Pohnpaid petroglyph site. If you so not want to wait for the LiDAR to be published, you can see in my book, THE PETROGLYPHS OF MU, many never before published petroglyphs, some with navigational motifs. More than interesting is that this site in Tonga bears the name of Mu.
