🥳 Happiness today is celebrating 5 fantastic years since Quality Cleanouts created “File the Piles” and it’s still going strong!

This idea of “takeaway organizing” came about in 2020 when a new client called with bags & bags of paperwork that needed serious sorting and the comfort level to do that in person was severely limited. She was ready & relieved to pass it all over to Quality Cleanouts and was thrilled with the results.

While things are back to normal?! now, many people love the idea of how “File the Piles” works and welcome what we can do to minimize, organize and optimize their paperwork.

☀️ Happiness is writing this today.

I took a break from posting these last few months. Many people asked why? Was I still working? Was I OK? Where was I?

I really appreciate everyone who reached out and who continue to check in with me.

I’m fine. And I haven’t missed a beat providing Quality Cleanouts’ services to others during times of their transitions.

But something did happen that made me take a pause and I’m ready to share now.

Months ago, my younger sister Dawn 💗 was diagnosed with an aggressive and silent form of cancer that came out of nowhere.

She moved in with us while receiving treatment and watching her watch her life turn upside down was heartbreaking.

By reframing her struggles, she transmuted them into meaning.

She is the bravest person I know.

It was really hard to write my “Happiness is…” posts because I wasn’t feeling much happiness - only sadness, fear and frustration.

I have to admit that staying busy with Quality Cleanouts saved me.

Being able to focus on helping others when I could not help her was a real lifeline for me.

It has been a defining experience tightening our family ties even tighter…and we are grateful for that.

The most important takeaway for me was this:

If you or someone you love doesn’t feel well, and are not getting a diagnosis that makes sense, please INSIST on a CT scan WITH contrast because it can save your life.

Dawn was recently blessed with encouraging results and continues to be positive & optimistic.

I’m now embracing July 🎂
(my favorite month!) with a happier heart and asking you to keep her in your prayers.
